Eunice Osborne

At an early age, Eunice was abandoned by her father and ignored by her mother. She recalled making her own decisions on whether or not to go to school or do drugs at the age of 10. At the age of 18, she was without a place to live so she temporarily found a home with a family friend. Soon he became her husband, and father to her daughter, Starlet.

Her husband began to beat her with chains, strangled her, cut her throat and even put her in the hospital. Eunice was so dependent on him and so attached for so many years that she couldn’t get herself to leave him. She knew that would be best, but she just couldn’t do it. Then, one day she escaped and found the House of Hope.

The House of Hope provided a home for her and Starlet — they are now in a safe and warm environment. Eunice is on her way to earning her medical certificate so she can be a phlebotomist, and live a self-sufficient life. Her fight to break the chain starts here and will impact the generations to come.

The above story is yet another real example of a real life that has been filled with HOPE by a combination of compassionate giving, hands-on ministry and the grace of God. Thank you for your role in bringing it to pass.
